SOS bee balm – why we developed it

Natural help for skin that needs protection

We're often asked why we have a bee balm in our range – and the answer is simple: because we wanted to create a product that reliably helps with many small skin emergencies, completely without chemicals, without fillers and without plastic packaging.

Many of us know it: cracked hands after winter, split patches of skin from all the disinfecting, small wounds or insect bites that just won't heal properly. That's exactly what the SOS bee balm is for. A care product that takes traditional knowledge about resins, bee products and plant oils and turns it into a modern formula.

Our motivation: 100% active ingredients, 0% fuss

We deliberately developed the balm water-free. Why? Because water in creams always makes preservatives and stabilisers necessary too. Instead, we rely on 100% natural active ingredients that noticeably care for and soothe the skin:

• Beeswax protects and locks in moisture without sealing the skin.
• Larch resin has a traditionally anti-inflammatory effect and supports skin regeneration.
• Propolis is a powerful natural bee product with antibacterial and wound-healing properties.
• Olive, almond and castor oil deliver intense moisture, supply the skin with vitamins and make it supple.

The result is a balm that doesn't just care for your skin but also makes a small contribution to rediscovering natural remedies.

How to use it: a real all-rounder

Whether cracked skin, small wounds, rough lips, insect bites or stressed hands and feet – the SOS bee balm is there for you in all sorts of everyday situations. Even a thin layer is enough to soothe the skin and leave a protective film behind.

Sustainability built in from the start

Our products should be good not just for the skin but for the environment too. That's why the balm comes in a glass jar with an upcycled lid made from recycled wood. Every lid is one of a kind – and the jar can later simply be reused or recycled.
