Origin
Our shea butter comes from the nuts of the shea tree (Vitellaria paradoxa) , which grows wild in the savannas of West Africa – primarily in Burkina Faso, Ghana, and Nigeria. The harvesting and processing of the shea nuts is traditionally done by hand by local women's cooperatives who have passed down their knowledge for generations.
After harvesting, the nuts are dried, cracked, roasted, and crushed into a paste before being pressed into shea butter in a complex, natural process without chemicals . This gentle, artisanal production preserves valuable ingredients such as vitamin E, beta-carotene, and essential fatty acids .
We pay attention to fair trading conditions and a transparent, sustainable supply chain – for a shea butter that is effective and responsible.

Organic shea butter is ideal for sensitive skin, baby skin, and homemade natural cosmetics . It protects against moisture loss, soothes irritated areas, and is versatile in its uses.
