Sustainability is not a trend. It is our future.

Nachhaltigkeit ist kein Trend. Sie ist unsere Zukunft.

Do you remember how prevalent sustainability used to be ? In 2018 and 2019, it was suddenly everywhere: on the streets, in the headlines, in our minds. Fridays for Future filled the squares, climate protection was a top political issue, and sustainable consumption was all the rage. I remember exactly how excited I was when I learned about the existence of zero-waste shops and plastic-free everyday products. I thought: Wow, there is another way! We can change the world for the better.

And today? Much has changed. Zero-waste shops are closing, sustainable companies are filing for bankruptcy, and environmental protection seems to have long since faded into the background . When I applied to forpeople a year and a half ago, I wondered: Do small, sustainable companies even have a future anymore? My optimism and stubborn determination to work for a better future prevailed. Today, I'm glad that my doubts couldn't shake my ideals and values. Because I remain convinced: We can change the world for the better.

These are challenging times. Many people are grappling with entirely different problems – rising prices, uncertainty, and worries about the future. We completely understand that sustainability isn't currently at the top of everyone's priority list. But at forpeople, we're all in agreement: sustainability is more important than ever. Especially now. Especially because things have become quieter. As a small company committed to environmental protection – with products that are manufactured fairly and sustainably, and an impact model that promotes biodiversity – we remain committed to our path.

Radiant skin for a blossoming future

Our products stand not only for natural care – they stand for an attitude. For doing business in harmony with people and nature.

This is what it looks like here:

🌱 Sustainability from the very beginning

Wherever possible, our raw materials come directly from the producers . This guarantees fair conditions and short, transparent supply chains . Production takes place in Germany, and our packaging is refillable, recyclable, or made from upcycled materials . Our hand cream? It generates only 197.66 g of CO₂ – compared to over 600 g for a conventional plastic tube.

💧 Less is more

Our formulas are reduced to the essentials : certified organic, preferably regional ingredients. With streamlined recipes and no unnecessary fillers, the products are not only highly concentrated but also exceptionally gentle on skin and the environment. By eliminating water, we can forgo emulsifiers, preservatives, and thickeners – thus protecting both the body and the environment from excessive environmental stressors .

🌼 Giving back more than we take

Every product creates 1 m² of new biodiversity – through wildflower meadows, peatland restoration, or rainforest reforestation. Because true sustainability means: We give back to nature more than we take from it.

Let's stick with it together.

The current climate hasn't escaped our notice either. We've realized that fair and sustainable products no longer generate the same level of interest as they did a few years ago. But we stand by our values – even in difficult times. To ensure we can continue to live up to them and achieve real change, we need you:

  • Recommend us to others
  • Share our mission
  • Leave reviews in online shops
  • Support other sustainable brands

Because together, sustainability remains more than just a trend: it's a promise for the future.
