Oh no - another sale already?

Huch - schon wieder ein Sale?

Yes, that's true, and we're not really happy about it either, because we just had a sale in March. We'd love to offer the products at the regular price. Unfortunately, the truth is that we're not doing so well financially. We've even had to reluctantly let go of some team members and reduce everyone's working hours so we can keep going. In this blog post, we want to try to explain the situation to you.

On the other hand, our warehouses are full (we've been expecting a larger retail listing for two years now), and our money is tied up in finished products/raw materials and paper packaging, which are (albeit slowly) getting older and not improving in quality. Storage costs are piling up, and so on and so forth...

We too are affected by the widely feared economic stagnation. But we don't just want to complain. Understandably, many people aren't in the mood to buy things, and products are becoming increasingly expensive (incidentally, not ours – we've reduced the prices of our solid creams by €2). At the same time, our products are long-lasting (at least the hand creams and oils ). So, we're not giving up, and we're looking for solutions. Products that everyone actually uses every day (soap/ deodorant ), for example, are one approach we're taking.

Okay, but why would another sale help?

To reverse the current situation, we need to sell off the stock.
And that's why a sale is just one of many measures we're taking. We've also used expired stock to create other products (like scented candles ) so that the raw materials are used up and we don't have to throw anything away. If you have other ideas for selling cosmetics, let us know! We're open to any creative suggestions.

The truth is: We wouldn't have come this far without you. Yes, you heard right. We have almost 2,000 customers who have ordered from us more than three times, and even some real fans who have ordered more than 15 or 20 times. We're so happy about that – it's fantastic!

But how did you first find us? Hopefully through recommendations or small shops. Many probably discovered us online (Google/ Facebook / Instagram ), and that's precisely the problem. Acquiring a new customer costs us an average of €17 through these channels, and it's getting more and more expensive. The digital giants have learned their lesson and now know exactly how big the pie is and what they can charge for it. Either you play along or you don't. We're trying to find a middle ground. Some advertising is necessary, but we need to be careful.

How can you help us, even if you don't want to buy anything?

So what can you do if you like our mission but are already covered? Your recommendation to your friends is invaluable to us. Seriously, before we pay Facebook or Google (for advertising) for each new customer, we'd be incredibly grateful if you would spread the word about us .

1. Do you know people with really rough hands? Perfect → Give them a hand cream .
Cracked feet? → Foot cream It works wonders!
Psoriasis or itching → Of course... Pure organic aloe vera , what else?
We are convinced of the effectiveness of our products and want others to experience this effect too. You can help us do this, and it really helps us!

2. I want to do advertising, but I don't have that much money?
No problem! Simply write "Refer a Friend" in the notes field when placing your order (small or large) and we will provide you with free products.
