How do I apply the body oil?

Straight after a shower on still slightly damp skin. Just pat yourself dry, warm a few drops in your hands and spread them. Better to use a little and add more if needed; too much oil stays on the skin as a film. On cold days, you can also use it for a massage.

What does the oil smell of, and does it contain fragrance?

It has a warm, spicy scent. This comes from essential oils of cinnamon leaf and orange peel; no perfume is added. The ingredient list names citral, citronellol and geraniol as components of essential oils. If you react to fragrances, choose a pure oil without added fragrance such as almond oil.

Can I use the body oil on my face?

It is made for the body and contains essential oils. For the face, the Face Oil - Lavender or a pure oil is a better fit. More in body oil on the face?

Does the body oil stain?

It can. Sea buckthorn seed oil is naturally coloured, and any oil can leave grease marks. Let the oil soak in before you get dressed and wash oily towels soon. More in does body oil stain?

What should I bear in mind if I have an allergy?

Sesame oil comes first in the ingredient list; if you have a sesame allergy, check with a doctor before use. There are also essential oils with the fragrance substances citral, citronellol and geraniol. Try the oil on a small area first and stop if the skin turns red or stings.

How do I store the body oil?

Tightly closed, somewhere cool and dark and out of the sun, as essential oils change with air, light and heat. How long the oil keeps after opening is stated on the packaging. If it smells clearly different from when you opened it, replace it.
